2019 Public Run Day Schedule
The North Georgia Live Steamers are excited to announce the 2019 public ride day schedule. The Conyers & Hightower Trail Railroad will be open in April 27th, May 18th, September 7th, October 12th, and November 2nd from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day. Mark the calendar now and bring the whole family out and enjoy the Conyers & Hightower Trail Railroad. Riders must be at least 18 months old or older.
Cost is $2 per person per ride on the railroad. CASH ONLY

The club steam engine has a long history with NGLS and in the area. While the exact details are not known thanks to many people in the club this locomotive lives again for the next generation to enjoy.

14 Maysville & Southern was built from Allen Model 10 Wheeler plans. The builder spent about 15 years machining and building the locomotive.

LocoParts manufactures custom tenders/kits, gas burners, silicon bronze lost wax castings and live steam locomotive valves and accessories in 1-1/2”, 2-1/2” and 3-3/4” scale. All items are manufactured using the finest bar stock materials, casings from red brass (hand pump) and stainless steel fasteners. All items are provided as RFI (ready for installation) or as kits if noted.
Leftover Turkey Day Run - November 24, 2018
The club joined for our first ever Leftover Turkey Day Run on Friday, November 24, 2018.
Inner West Loop Construction 2018
In order to help with a bottle neck on the railroad during public run days an inner west loop was installed along with a double grade crossing. This project started in April 2018 and was completed in September 2018.
