Our first club meeting of 2026 year will be on Saturday, January 3rd. Meeting is at 1 p.m. The plans for the meeting is to elect the 2026 board and discuss plans for the season. The meeting location to be determined.

Train Rides on Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
North Georgia Live Steamers invite you and all those who love trains to come out and ride trains with us on Saturday, March 28th from 1:00 - 4:30 p.m. We will be opening for our second public train ride day of the 2025 season and look forward to seeing you and all the different types of trains that will be operating on the Conyers & Hightower Trail Railroad.
Cost is $2 per person per ride on the railroad. Must be at least 18 months old or older. Sorry expectant mothers are not allowed to ride on the railroad. We do NOT accept debit/credit cards.

Leftover Turkey Club Fun Run (Private Event)
NGLS club members are you looking to get rid of the leftover turkey and trimmings on Saturday, November 28th. Come out for a club fun run day at the railroad. Bring friends, family, and bring the leftovers to share.
Christmas Party and Club Meeting (Private Event)
Our regularly scheduled Club Meeting and annual Christmas Party will be on Saturday, December 5th. The plan is to have lunch, meeting, and White Elephant raffle from 1 to 4 p.m. Additional details will be provided as we get closer. As a reminder we will be taking nominations for the 2027 board during the meeting.

Our last Almost Monthly Club Fun Day will be on Saturday, December 6th along with our Christmas Party and Club Meeting all packed into a single day. The club meeting will be at 1 p.m. with all other festivities happening throughout the day. Plan on bringing a white elephant gift, a shareable dish, and friends and family to join in the holiday season. Additional details will be provided as we get closer.
Leftover Turkey Club Fun Run (Private Event)
NGLS club members are you looking to get rid of the leftover turkey and trimmings on Saturday, November 29th. Come out for a club fun run day at the railroad. Bring friends, family, and bring the leftovers to share.
Shop Project Container Move Workday
We need help this Thursday, November 13th at 12:45 p.m. We’ll be rotating Shop Container #2 and pouring a small footer between Containers #1 and #2.
We have access to some heavy equipment for a short window, so timing is critical — the more hands we have, the smoother (and faster) everything will go.
If you can lend a hand, come on out! Every bit of help makes a difference and keeps the momentum going strong.
5th Annual Fall Meet 2025 Details

Club Fun Day Father's Day Event (Private Event)
Just so we have an excuse to come out and play with trains we will have a Father’s Day weekend club fun day the Saturday before Father’s Day.
Train Mountain Triennial
The 2025 Triennial will run from June 14th to June 29th. The first week is the preparation week, dedicated to setting up for the event. Thursday and Friday, June 19th and 20th will be transition days where set-up is complete, but the primary operation of the Triennial has not yet begun.
