Public Run Day Special Update - Reinstating run day hotdogs and more

Back by popular demand we will be cooking out for lunch at our May 21st public run day. Just like before COVID everyone will bring a dish or side that can be shared with everyone. We will also be digging out the grill to cook hotdogs.

For those that are asking what can they bring here are a few ideas:

Salads like Potato or Macaroni

Chips

Cookies

Anything you think others would like

Don’t forget to bring your own drinks especially since it will be warm on Saturday, May 21st during the run day.

We are looking for one or more volunteers to check out the grill, clean it, and make sure we have enough propane on Saturday, May 14th during our work day. For those wondering where the grill is its in the red container.

Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m.

North Georgia Live Steamers invite you and all those who love trains to come out and ride trains with us on Saturday, November 7th from 1:00 - 4:30 p.m. We will be opening for our final public train ride day of the 2026 season and look forward to seeing you and all the different types of trains that will be operating on the Conyers & Hightower Trail Railroad.

Cost is $2 per person per ride on the railroad. Must be at least 18 months old or older. Sorry expectant mothers are not allowed to ride on the railroad. We do NOT accept debit/credit cards.

Our regularly scheduled Club Meeting and annual Christmas Party will be on Saturday, December 5th. The plan is to have lunch, meeting, and White Elephant raffle from 1 to 4 p.m. Additional details will be provided as we get closer. As a reminder we will be taking nominations for the 2027 board during the meeting.
