2026 Spring Meet will be April 17th - 19th
You and your friends who love trains are invited to join us for the North Georgia Live Steamers Spring Meet, taking place Thursday, April 17 through Sunday, April 19. Come enjoy a fantastic weekend of live steam action, fellowship, and railroading fun with fellow enthusiasts from near and far!
To help us plan, please be sure to register and let us know you’re coming. We will be providing lunch on Saturday, April 18, so your registration helps ensure we have plenty of food for everyone.
If you’re coming from out of town — or just want to stay nearby — we’ve compiled a list of great local hotels on our website. Limited onsite RV and camper spaces are available, so please let us know in advance if you’d like to reserve a spot.

🏨 Accommodations
We have limited space for RVs and trailers onsite. Overflow parking is available at the Georgia International Horse Park RV facility, located approximately one mile from the railroad.
For those preferring hotel accommodations, please visit our website for the most up-to-date list of nearby hotels. Most lodging and dining options are conveniently located within 3–5 miles of the railroad.
🚆 Visiting Trains
All locomotive types are welcome!
Steam locomotives must have a current hydrostatic test. Testing can be performed onsite with assistance from NGLS members if needed.
