Our next regularly scheduled workday is Saturday, August 1st starting at 8:30 a.m. and our August club meeting will be at 1 p.m. Make sure you put on your calendar our Annual Summer Nights Club Fun Day which is scheduled for Saturday, August 29th.

Our next Routen Tuten Workday is scheduled for Saturday, February 21, weather permitting. These workdays take place every other weekend and are a great way to lend a hand, support ongoing projects, and enjoy a fun day at the railroad.

Whether you’re able to help out or just want to cheer on the crew, we’d love to see you there! Please remember to bring cordless tools, plenty of water, a packed lunch, and a good sense of humor.

Before heading out, be sure to check back for any schedule updates or changes due to weather or project needs.

A workday is scheduled for Saturday, March 21st starting at 8:30 a.m. Bring cordless tools, knee pads, lunch, plenty to drink, and a great sense of humor.

Train Rides on Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

North Georgia Live Steamers invite you and all those who love trains to come out and ride trains with us on Saturday, March 28th from 1:00 - 4:30 p.m. We will be opening for our first public train ride day of the 2026 season and look forward to seeing you and all the different types of trains that will be operating on the Conyers & Hightower Trail Railroad.

Cost is $2 per person per ride on the railroad. Must be at least 18 months old or older. Sorry expectant mothers are not allowed to ride on the railroad. We do NOT accept debit/credit cards.

Our 1st Annual NGLS Spring Meet will be held Friday, April 17th through Sunday, April 19th. Additional details about the event will follow but for now here is what we have so far. This event is NOT part of our Public Train Ride events and not open to the general public.
