In Memory Of – Memorial Donations
Honor a Life. Celebrate a Passion. Keep Their Memory on Track.
At North Georgia Live Steamers, we believe that railroading is about more than locomotives and tracks. It's about the friendships we build, the memories we create, and the joy of sharing our passion with others.
Making a donation in memory of a loved one, friend, fellow railroad enthusiast, or cherished member is a meaningful way to honor their life while helping preserve the spirit of railroading for future generations.
Your memorial gift creates a lasting tribute by supporting the continued growth, preservation, and operation of North Georgia Live Steamers.
A Lasting Tribute That Makes a Difference
North Georgia Live Steamers is a volunteer-driven, nonprofit educational organization dedicated to demonstrating the operation of a working miniature railroad and sharing the rich history of railroading with the public.
Throughout the year, our volunteers work on projects that maintain and improve our railroad, enhance the visitor experience, and expand our educational opportunities.
Memorial donations help support these efforts, including:
Completion of the “Grandma Line” – Expanding our railroad for future generations to enjoy.
Railroad Signal System – Adding authentic railroad signaling to enhance our operations.
Workshop Construction – Providing dedicated space for equipment maintenance, repairs, and future projects.
Railroad and Equipment Maintenance – Preserving our locomotives, rolling stock, track, and facilities.
Through the generosity of individuals like you and the dedication of our volunteers, these projects and many others become possible.
Keeping Their Memory Alive
A memorial donation is more than a financial contribution. It is a way to celebrate someone's life by supporting an organization that brings people together through a shared love of trains and railroading.
Whether your gift honors a longtime member, a family member, a friend, or someone who simply loved the railroad, your generosity helps ensure that the sights, sounds, and traditions of railroading continue to inspire visitors of all ages.
Though their journey may have ended, their memory will forever ride the rails.
