The following events are planned for NGLS in 2008. As always, this timetable is subject to change at any time. Please check back frequently for the latest information.

Club Meetings

Club meetings are held the first Saturday of the month in the months of January, February, April, June, August, October, and December. For information about attending a meeting, please contact one of the club officers.

March 15, 2008 - Duluth Community Appreciation Day

May 1-2, 2008 - Mid-South Live Steamers Spring Meet - Columbia, TN

While not an official NGLS-run meet, a large number of the club's members will be running their equipment at Mid-South's great track in Columbia, TN. Come on out and join the fun. For more information, visit the Mid-South website.

May 17-18, 2008 - Kennesaw Railroad Days - Kennesaw Train Depot

In conjunction with Kennesaw Railroad Museum's train days celebration, the NGLS club will be operating our portable track and giving rides to the public.

September 24-26, 2008 - Mid-South Live Steamers Fall Meet - Columbia, TN

Once again a large contingent of NGLS members will make the trip to Columbia, TN for the fall meet held at the Mid-South Live Steamers club. Come on out and join the fun. For more information, visit the Mid-South website.

October 18, 2008 - Manchester Rail Days

NGLS will be operating our portable track for the public as part of the celebration activities in Manchester, GA. Last year was a big success...2008 looks to be at least as good!

November 8-9, 2008 - Cumming Tractor Show - Cumming, GA

2007 was our first invitation to this show. Even though it was a bit "last minute" in the planning, the show was a big success with many very knowledgeable spectators and riders! We are looking forward to participating in the show again in 2008. Stop by and see us and take a ride on the train!
