Visit to Palmetto Live Steamers Spring 2021 Meet
At the end of April several club members traveled to South Carolina to visit Palmetto Live Steamers during there annual 2021 Spring meet. This private railroad and the attractions around the property made this a fun and unique trip. When you pull into you are greeted by beautiful peacocks, a double decker bus and a variety of steam powered equipment from the early 1900’s. The number of visiting steam locomotives from our hobby numbered more than a dozen with many of them coal fired. Below are a few pictures taken over the weekend and a special thanks for the invitation goes out to Mark F. and all those who make Palmetto Live Steamers such a great place to visit.
