Our 3rd Annual NGLS Fall Meet will be held Thursday, October 19th through Sunday October 22nd. Additional details about the event will follow but for now here is what we have so far. This event is NOT part of our Public Train Ride events and not open to the general public.

When: Thursday, October 19 - Sunday, October 22nd
Accommodations:
We have limited room for RV’s and trailers onsite however overflow space will be available at the RV parking area located at the Georgia International Horse Park facility which is about a mile down the road. For those wishing to stay in a hotel the La Quinta Inn & Suites or Courtyard by Mariott have special rates for NGLS. For other hotel options visit our Fall Meet webpage for the most up today list of hotels and special rates. Most hotels are within 3 to 5 miles from the railroad.
Visiting Trains:
All trains are welcome but for steam engines need to have a current hydro-static test. The test can be performed by NGLS. There is no cost for the test, it will be performed and documented same as we do for our own equipment, and you will get a copy of the inspection certificate which is valid the duration of the meet.
Loading / Unloading
North Georgia Live Steamers has a hydraulic car lift that will support up to 60-feet of train loaded across three 20-foot sections of track.
